How far will you travel to marry us? 

If I am available for your date I will generally travel wherever you need me to be! If you want to get married on the beach, at a park or under a covered bridge, that's where I'll go! If you are in Ohio I will marry you! I do want to mention here that my husband generally accompanies me when I travel out of town.

What style of attire will you wear?

I will dress in appropriate attire for your particular wedding. It depends on your ceremony style and the degree of formality. I want to blend in with the wedding, not stand out. It's your wedding and the focus is on YOU. I will generally wear an appropriate syle pant suit or dress but if you want blue jeans on the beach, that's ok too. :) 

Will you attend the reception?

I will conduct your ceremony, sign your license and be on my way. I do ask that you allow me to take one or two photographs of the happy couple! I will not be attending the reception so you needn't worry about the added expense.  

What about a rehearsal?

If desired, I will be happy to conduct a rehearsal to help stage, organize and coordinate the ceremony. It should take approximately an hour and a half at most. The wedding rehearsal takes a lot of pressure off the bride and groom and promotes a more relaxed and confident wedding party.  I'll contact you prior to rehearsal to gather information on family and bridal party.

Can we have photographers during the ceremony?

Most certainly! These are once in a lifetime moments! Photographers and Videographers are urged to take pictures.

How much is your fee?

After your free initial consultation I  will make a determination based on the circumstances and requirements of the couple. Base fees are listed on site. I am fair and reasonable and will do what is right for you. The fee would only increase if I am required to travel out of town and/or need overnight lodging for example. We will have time to talk about it and negotiate if there are extenuating circumstances. What about the marriage license and payment? 

I will need your marriage license upon arrival. Please place any payment due within the envelope for discretion. Generally there is a lot of excitement and activity after the ceremony. You may have a receiving line and you will need time with the photographer. During this time I will sign the marriage license and record the required information. I am responsible for filing it with the proper County Recorder's Office once I leave.
